Communicating science with music
The microbiologist Dr. Heribert Insam, former university professor and head of the Institute of Microbiology at the University of Innsbruck, and the professional musicians Patrizia Grawe (voice) and Sebastian Schweiger (piano) tell facts and arouse emotions.
The aim is to overcome scientific skepticism. The important role of microorganisms in the formation of greenhouse gases is communicated and is intended to contribute to a better understanding of climate change and to derive options for action for the individual.
The development of the format was supported by the Interreg project CEDRIC, whose scientific content is the transplantation of plant microbiomes from locations south of the Alps to those north of the Alps. The aim is to improve growth after climate change.
